Proven Ebay Course version 1 was a crappy course. Basically taught you how to sell diabetic strips on eBay. But in order to buy it, you'd have to place ads everywhere and sorta lie to people if they asked why you were buying it!!!

This is a proven eBay Course??? Buy diabetic strips from people who don't need them and resell them on eBay? And your supplier is via Craigslist ads>>>>>> OMG. this is NOT a good business model.

I make tons of money on eBay. But in order to succeed, the first step is to find a RELIABLE AND PREDICTABLE supplier. I am shocked that Jim Cockrum, usually a decent person, promoted this and others like Skip McGrath, an awesome eBayer, jumped on the bandwagon and promoted it.

What amazed me about this Proven eBay Course 2 course is that "Diane" and "Max" the actual creators of the course, who claims to be making $123,110.09 a month via this method, if true, are actually stupid enough to publicise their method to the thousands of people on eBay which would normally create a massive competition for themselves.

Here are some MORE problems beyond the major one stated above...

1- Sales letter states, "no experience necessary"... OH COME ON JIM. Are you serious? Did your lawyers actually OK the verbiage of this salesletter

2- Has anyone done any analysis of the potential marketplace and what would happen if say 100 people bought this overhyped course and actually started selling it? I mean did you guys actually run a Terapeak report and analyze what would someone make if the competition jumped 10 fold, 100 fold???

3- Did Diane and Max think about the destruction to their business if 100 people actually bought the course and started selling this niche product? What would happen to the 65% profit margin? Did they just commit "niche suicide"?

4- Side note: Not related to anything at all... but just bugs me nonetheless.... Why is the font in the salesletter so small (in Firefox and in IE) - Is there not standards of font and disclosure that are required when selling a product online? Anyhow, not really pertinent.

5- Where are some testimonials from people who have used Diane and Max's system and are able to make good money with this system? I would love to see some stats on number of people who got suckered into this course and actually made sayyyyyyyyyyy $10,000 a month consistently. I see the disclaimer stating the normal BS disclosures and that you aint gonna make close to that amount bla bla bla... then what is someone buying this course?

Folks, I am not selling anything here and those of you who know me personally know that I speak my mind. This is not a course that will enrich you. This course will make lots of money for the creators and the affiliates who are promoting this nonesense. No one in their RIGHT mind will disclose their duplicable $100,000 niche unless they knew the readers of the course could not do the same thing.

Don't be fooled unless you don't mind asking for a refund. And I know some of you will go against my advise. But the refund is solid and if you DON'T succeed in this niche, you can get your money back. Paydotcom is a solid processor and despite my harsh words here, Jim is a decent human being (but misguided- at least in this particular course offering)

I mean COMMMMMMMMME ON... How many marketers do you see get on a video and announce their physical address and then tell people to visit them????!!!!

And then proceed to move the "free line" by giving away a free 46 page PDF with tons of solid information.

I am big fan of PPC and Pay Per View (also known as Permission Based Advertising or Adware Traffic) - This is the fastest way of making a full time income on the internet. BY FAR!

One of the best teachers/coaches of these systems is Will over at Coach-PPC.com

This is a potent site because of the owner. He teaches and guides you.
In fact Will Haimerl recently was interviewed by Clickbooth and revealed some awesome insight about how he succeeded and what it takes to succeed or FAIL!

The trick is in getting someone to guide you and then testing what you do.
My biggest problem was NOT GETTING STARTED!
I was scared of losing. I was scared of failing. I was afraid of losing my credit card balanced.

The way I got over that hump, like Will did too, was to get a mentor who held my hand and gave me some confidence and guidance in the initial stages.

I found that coach in people like Gauher Chaudhry and more recently in Will.

********* asterics for the S&H and also the Forced Continuity program which automatically enrolls you to his monthly paid newsletter. GIVE.... ME..... A..... BREAK

What the hell gives him the right to call something free where in fact it isn't free and then get you enrolled into his newsletter till you call in and cancel. Trust me, some high school drop out will haggle you to keep this membership.

Look, Listen and Pay Attention.... This is all nonsense. DO NOT WASTE your hard earned money on this garbage. I am sure MF believes he is delivering value, but I am here to tell you that the material in those "FREE" (NOTTTTT) booklets will not make you rich.

He has built a 500,000 mailing list and you'll be escalated (promoted) from the free sucker list to "Hey This Stooopid Dude Paid Me $30 Bucks For My Free Stuff List So Hit Him Hard With More FREE Offer" List!!!!!!!

Now I am not sure about you, but I don't want you to be on that list :)
Get the info for free on the internet. Its all there for free. And its easy to learn.

What is Twitter and How To Use it

I've had it with hearing about Twitter at Twitter.com
So I gave in -- after a bunch of invites-- dropped my PPC and CPA campaigns, and headed to Twitter and signed up ==> http://www.twitter.com/fixnow

It was a little complicated at first glance... but after a few minutes, I figured it out. Duh... Simple stuff folks. Nothing to it.

Here's how it works.
Sign up for Tweeter
You "follow" someone who uses Twitter (For example John Reese)
Everytime John makes a post (a mini post), YOU, along with thousand of others who are "following" him will be notified by IM or by cell phone etc.

It's a great new way of getting bombarded by messages by people who you're following.
Another level of noise entering our cluttered lives. As if email wasn't bad enough, then came RSS readers, Instant Messengers, Desktop Messengers and now we have Twitter.

Don't get me wrong. There are benefits to this service. For example, enter your web address on the side bar and you'll get visitors as well as some Google juice to your site.

I'll be playing with this for the sole purpose of finding out the rational behind so many people loving this. Once I'm done, I'll be sure to tell you guys about my findings.

Folks, this is one of the most powerful money making blogs I've ever come across. It's pure content and this guy (Ruck) dishes out comments and posts that are absolute Gold.

I don't know why he gives so much away for free --- BUT it's gotta be a Karma thing. In essence you take several photos from your harddrive and upload them to their service, then you choose a song from their selection of songs and with a little Animoto magic you get something like this.

Trust me folks, I had nothing to do with the production value!
All the mixing and FX is created by their servers on the fly. Try it out. You'll impress your friends.

A fantastic tool has been made available by Chris over at Profits With Chris Blog which makes article spinning and rewriting a whole lot easier.

Now don't get me wrong. This is not the only tool out there that can take your article and spin it to various versions. Some might even say that Chris's is a little too complicated. But in my humble opinion, Excel is the most powerful tool out there when combined with Macros and VBA programming.

I thanked Chris for the script as well as the 16 minute video he prepared explaining how to use this Excel script to properly spin the articles.

Do yourselves a favor and download it before he changes his mind and starts charging for it!

Affiliate Rockstar by a fellow named Rockefeller is a compilation of other books covering the same techniques.

So in essence, it is scraped content .....

Take a little here, borrow a little there and voila, you got yourself a book.
Then get a bunch of people with suckers (oops I mean subscribers) to promote to and you got the makings of what? YES YES YES,,,,, a Mega Super Duper LAUNCH.
Folks, don't buy this book. Everything you need to start your business is freely available in front of you. On blogs like this and better ones than mine.

On forums
On Google, Yahoo, MSN etc
All free

If you have more money than time to research, then find books that have been recommended by trusted sources or ones that have been mentioned in respected blogs. (Note: respected means the ones YOU have come to respect and trust)
Or better yet, goto Amazon.com and buy physical books. Not only they are cheaper, they also have resale value.

Only spend money on eBooks when you are buying proprietary information NOT available anywhere else.

Ice Cream Truck + Advanced Marketing = Something Special

So I was reading the May 11-17 edition of LAWeekly Magazine and while trying to avoid the endless naughty ads for strip bars and sexline numbers, I come across an awesome article about a young women who has used some of the most potent marketing techniques to promote no other than her little ice cream truck!

Her ice cream truck is now the talk of the areas she visits and she even has a Myspace page where she publishes her weekly routes and where she'll make her next appearance. HER NEXT APPEARANCE! Like a Rock Star... I hope you see how amazing this woman really is.

While the ice cream trucks drive up and down aimlessly in search of a desperate youngster with a sweet tooth, Leyla Safai has built a business with a following, a Myspace page where she has adoring fans and a full page article about her in LAWeekly.

She proves that in order to differentiate yourself, you need to be outrageous, different, unique and stop being a commodity.

Advanced marketing doesn't have to be anything more complicated than what Leyla has done. In fact what she is doing is more effective than what all other ice cream vendors do to promote their business and this is what has allowed her to grow her business to two trucks, and MUCH more to come, I'm sure of that.

Good job young lady and I hope we all learn how to simplify advanced marketing.

Adwords Tycoon Not For ANY of us!!!

Adwords Tycoon might be the most expensive course on the fine art of PPC I've ever seen.
And here's my quick recommendation.
DO NOT BUY IT.
Save your money and buy some well written, well organized book from the likes of Perry Marshall and you'll save yourself about $1500 dollars.

Yes, you heard me right. This course costs $1500 bucks and it is absurd to think that any normal marketer would need this in order to succeed in the PPC game.

If you're a beginner, start with Perry's course.
If you're an advanced marketer, then heck, you don't need this anyways.
If you're a "famous" marketer (AKA GURU) then you definitely don't need it because:
(A) You already have it free as a part of your JV
and
(B) You'll never read or use it anyways cause you got your list to market to!

So I can not find any possible reason for anyone to buy THIS particular insanely priced course.
The only people who'll surely make money are the the developers.

Google Adsense Alternative: eBay to the Rescue

Adsense is getting harder to make money with, so let's see what else is available out there.

Don't get me wrong. Google Adsense was very very good to me up to late last year.
And then all of a sudden, all of my income went to zero or next to zero on all my sites. I guess the sites were not what the big G had in mind when they changed their algo.

Anyhow, it was an awful feeling when the sites stopped making money. I couldn't be lazy anymore.

If I wanted to Eat, I had to come up with another Money Making strategy FAST

So I searched for other methods of making money and came across a nice fellow by the name of Jeremy Shoemaker (AKA Shoemoney at shoemoney.com)

At that time, he was using PPC to drive traffic to his ringtone sites and he was making a ton of money with it. He actually went on and posted two awesome articles on his blog where he openly told people what he did called it the $10,000 experiment. You can check it out here and here. These 2 postings should be on everyone's mandatory reading list when getting into the PPC game.

Why am I bringing up ShoeMoney?
(Besides the fact that he is one of my heros and a NICE man)

Because he's come up with one of the smartest techniques to replace Adsense ads with better paying ads. eBay Ads! Yup. eBay.

He actually started these "auction ads" last year but he has refined them and upgraded his servers for faster response time. I have not seen anything that even comes close. Sure there are other contextual and content type ads. Yahoo and MSN are just 2 examples. And sure you can go to eBay directly and get the ads or feeds yourself. But they'll only give you the US ads. Shoemoney's system covers all 14 countries covered by eBay!

This is HOT- and You won't find them elsewhere

I strongly suggest that you check this out for yourself and sign up for free. He even gives you the ability to earn 2nd tier affiliate income if someone signs up from your link.

Woody Maxim Is An Internet Marketing Goldmine

If you're a serious internet marketer, then you need to join this blog and read every post this man (WoodyMaxim.com) puts up.... Yes, he rocks!

I've been reading his blog for about 2 weeks now and have yet to find a bad post.

Woody is a self proclaimed "reformed adult webmaster" as if being an adult webmaster is inherently wrong. I don't think this to be true but that's another conversation for another day.

Yesterday, Woody Maxim introduced his readers to an aweosme video service which takes YouTube (or other) videos and adds affiliate bubbles as well as comment tags on them.

In essence, you're using someone's video to promote your own product. I think as long as you don't abuse the video, for example, use someone's video on Horse Training and promote a ClickBank product. I think there should be certain amount of restraint used in manupulating or embedding others' videos on your own site.

Having said that, I went into BubblePly and did what Woody said. Came up with my little masterpiece :) of Chris Carpenter's new Google Cash Adwords Video.

I first met Gauher about a year ago during some email conversations. We chatted about PPC, AdWords and some AdSense stuff.

Is it good? Is it worth it? Is it outstanding?
YES YES and YES... To say the least.

This course is a must have for anyone getting into the serious side of PPC and traffic brokering.
If you plan on strating your Google Adwords campaign and scale it up, then you need this package. Otherwise you'll be wasting your money. Unless you are an expert in this stuff.
He is the only person I know who takes on highly competitive markets, documents it on video and proceeds to win the market. I don't know of anyone else who's gutsy enough to do the same thing.

Awesome AdWords PPC Videos And The "Gurus"

Learn AdWords PPC from 2 "GURUs" and their YouTube Videos!!!

Once in a while you come across content and information on the net so good, so awesome that you'd gladly pay to get it.

And then when its FREE, you kinda wonder what's the catch!

Well, these 2 guys, Amish Shah and Larry Ostrovsky who have just been promoted to GURU status (Note: I really hate that term...) by YouTube.com because of the quality of their videos and the number of people subscribing to their free PPC videos.

Amish and Larry run an awesome blog over at http://www.thenewppc.com/blog where they teach AdWords, PPC, SEO and LSI techniques! Most of the stuff is for the advanced marketers and definitely worth following. (In a couple of weeks, as I learn more about their methods, I'll cover some of their unique twist of fusing PPC with LSI and SEO. Let's call it PPC-SEO-LSI Fusion)

Amazing thing is the fact that their PPC videos and the ebook is absolutely free. They give freely and claim this to be a paradigm shift. I couln't agree with them more.

Like I said before, DO NOT BE FOOLED by the used car salesmen AKA self proclaimed internet "GURUS" who feed off of the ever growing masses of desperados joining the wanna get rich on the internet group.

Take my advise. Check out the volume of free PREMIUM information like www.thenewppc.com/blog and learn from these 2 guys. Not only they know the game of PPC inside out, they also belong to the new generation of marketers who believe in honestly delivering FANTASTIC information and proving themselves before asking for a dime!

Testing and tracking is what separates the boys from the men.
I don't care what anyone tells you, when it comes to advanced marketing techniques and systems, the people who test are the ones who stay on top of the market.

And here's what most people don't know.

There are testing methods which the majority of new or established businesses (marketers) don't know about and will never know about.

This is why, people like me, can enter any market and within a few months own it.
Yes, I will own any market if I set my mind to it and spend enough money on it because I know things that they don't!

NOW WAIT A MINUTE. I'm not saying that I'll enter the "credit card" market and beat Chase Manhattan or Citibank in their own game. This is not about branding and I aint' stupid enough ot rich enough to spend billions in branding my name.

What I'm saying is that with proper teaching and training, testing and tracking, any smart marketer can be on the top results of a search engine.

One of the best marketer I know is a fellow by the name of Marcus Allen. He knows his PPC inside out and knows how to test like no one I know.
Marcus even own some privare scripts that tell him THINGS that will make a grown man cry... Ok Ok I'm being a bit dramatic here.

I ran his script for a particular hot keyword, and the script took a few minutes and came back with information which was above and beyond anything I've ever seen. Now folks, you don't know me and I don't know you, but I PROMISE you that this script is gonna make people a crap load of money.

And this is just one of the tricks this seasoned marketer has up his sleeve.
The brick and mortar business DOES NOT have a chance against people like me and Marcus.

Internet Marketing Truth and Lies

I've been studying and watching the internet marketing pitch men come and go and each month, and I'm shocked at the amount of crap they try to shove down the collective throats of the masses, the ones they are supposed to teach and help!

These masses are the internet marketing junkies and newbies who enter the business thinking and wishing for the freedom of working from home and making loads of money overnight. Only to spend hundreds or thousands of dollars in buying junk they'll never need, follow advise that's tainted or simply false and soon give up helpless, hopeless and cashless!

Internet Marketing and the so called GURUs have in a few short years become the equivalent of those little "stuff the envelope and make millions" ads you used to see in the back of gossip magazines--- And you still see them if you look closely.

Don't feel bad because I've been scammed and taken far too many times to mention.

So what's the solution?

What's someone looking for answers to do?

Here's what I did for what its worth...

I found a few trusted online marketers who refused to call themselves GURUS and some even got offended if you called them as such. I found them online one by one. I bought their stuff. I studied their teachings. I called, emailed, faxed or met with them... One by One!

Do as I Did!

First, find the teachers. There are about 20 teachers whom I trust and will buy from over and over. Yes, you need to buy from them. We're all trying to make money and we all value our time. Or at least we all should.

Then, after you've paid them for their time and product, follow their advise, step by step by step. Ask them questions when you get stuck. Become the student and let the teacher teach. In no time, if you're any good, you'll be better than them!

And that's how you learn internet marketing.

Do NOT jump around.
Do NOT get bogged down with too many books and too many theories.
Stick to the plan and give it an honest try.
